Peter Rand

Hello!

I'm Peter Rand, a mechanical engineer specializing in energy research and college teaching. 

After recently completing my PhD at the Colorado School of Mines, where my research focuses on improving the technology readiness of fuel cells and other electrochemical systems, I started a position as Assistant Professor of Teaching at Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend.

Alongside research, I'm passionate about student mentorship and advancing college teaching.
